IDENTEC Acquires Wtek, Enters Worker Safety Market

Dallas-based IDENTEC Solutions, a manufacturer of wireless tracking and tracing devices, reported Thursday that it has completed its acquisition of Norwegian firm Wtek, a producer of RFID-enabled safety equipment for the oil, gas and mining industries. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.... (more)
